Evolving Work
I thought I founded Botanica Floristry because I love to grow flowers and design. But it goes much deeper. This work hits my soul.
When I take out the noise and ask the flowers how we are going to work together, it takes on a whole new perspective.
I’ve let go of the outcome and continually bring myself back to the present. And you know what, it makes me incredibly happy, invigorated and even selfish to think that this is how life is. At the same time, I know this is what I am meant to do, not only for my community but for myself. To honor what I have to give all the senses to all my clients.
I was thinking the other day, why I say client vs customer. Yes it sounds fancier but I’m normally digging for the real reason. And it hit me today. Clients are a give and take. It’s a relationship, a connection. Customers are transactional.
Even though I am the sole owner, grower and designer of the company. The work is always a team effort.
