Frequently asked questions.

What should I expect to spend on my wedding flowers?
Your wedding flowers are as unique as you and your love story. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The starting investment for your wedding floral designs is $5,000.

What does that include?

This includes and not limited to:

  • 25 years experience in the plant world and customer relationships

  • my Horticultural degree

  • capping my client base to 15 clients per year to put my heart and soul into your designs

  • growing, harvesting and designing flowers for clients

  • time spent curating the most intentional style and design for your day

  • creating mood boards to bring a visual of your ideas to you

  • choosing local and American grown flowers within your color palette

  • working with flower farms and hand selecting flowers

  • communication with you during the planning process

  • floral design

  • hard goods

  • packaging for travel to your venue

  • delivery and setup if needed

Do you itemize pricing?
I do not itemize my proposals or invoices. As you can see in the above question, there is a lot that goes into my process of creating your wedding designs that cannot be itemized.

What is the average spend when working with you?

$6,000 - $8,000

Can we meet with you in person?
For consultations we connect over the phone or email. I do this to save time and travel for both parties. I don’t want to take up more of your time than needed to create a proposal. For final meetings, I’d love to meet you in person! If you’re local or planning a visit, I’d be thrilled to host you for your final meeting at our private home studio.

Do you travel?
I do! I typically travel up to 2 hours from my home studio. Beyond that, it’s considered on a case-by-case basis.

How do we secure our event date with you?

A retainer of 50% of your proposal and a signed contract.

Do you have a payment schedule?

Depending on the length between booking and your wedding day, this would be an approximate schedule:

Retainer $1,000 at time of booking Payments can be broken up into 4 payments throughout your planning process. Final payment is due 4 weeks prior to your wedding day

Is there anything we should know about working with you?
I’m a studio-based florist, so when you visit, you’ll be seeing me in my private space, not a storefront. My style is distinctive, and I pride myself on creating designs with locally grown flowers that are uniquely yours—I don’t copy other designers or Pinterest. I don’t create mock-ups because I believe in letting the flowers speak for themselves, adding a touch of surprise to your day.

I’m selective about the weddings I take on because I want to invest fully in your experience. And grow you flowers for your floral designs. If you have a fun, unconventional idea or you’re ready to trust me completely with a creative, colorful, and locally grown floral design, I’m the florist for you.

If you are looking for a proposal that only reflects a price to compare with other companies I may not be the right fit for you. Getting multiple bids is great. If you are only looking at the price vs the quality and commitment of work I’m able to provide you with local and American grown flowers with a passion for sustainability, I’d love to recommend another company that would work better with your needs.

Let’s make something extraordinary together!
