Hand Bouquets in Season
Freaking out over here, as always. Dang it I love a beautiful hand bouquet for my incredible wedding clients.
The color palettes and trust that they have in me to design brings all the good energy into the floral studio, my hands and creativity.
This is a blog of thanks to all my clients that put their trust into me.
For your appreciation of the art.
For your willingness to bring your vision and my expertise to life in floral designs for one of the biggest days of your life.
For all the hugs and excitement when I arrive. Knowing that I put every inch of myself into your floral designs.
To connect to create - which is half of Botanica Floristry’s mission.
Connecting on a level of sheer excitement to create the coolest flower designs from the best flower farms the US has to offer.
Thank you!

We went bud vases all the way for a simple touch of breathtaking flowers.
If you are starting to read along, I decided to try no till in the flower farm this season. I love to try things out every year. Will it ever be consistent in my practice? Probably not. That’s why I have stopped taking everything in the flower farm so seriously and do my best to see what happens and adjust as needed. Let me tell you, Mother Nature is definitely taking good care of these flowers with a little help from us.
No till progress - So far so good! A lot of hand raking with a blister in the middle of my hand. And I will take it since it’s now all said and done. Below is our annual flower bed that I lay landscape fabric to keep moisture in and weeds out.
Where you see open ground I’m going to throw seeds for a more wildflower feel. First time trying this, stick around and you will find out how it goes throughout the growing season.
In our perennial beds the spring anemones are flowering and the lilacs are making our senses so happy.
