How to process & recut a bunch of tulips before putting them in a vase

Are you dreaming of spring? I know I sure am when we spent the weekend in Fargo, North Dakota at 20 below with who knows how much colder it felt with the added wind chill. I love living here, no seriously, with all the seasons, but this extreme can drive a lady a bit crazy.
